Hei-Sei-Ji is the first Japanese temple ever to be dismantled and reconstructed in America.
Originally built in 1984 in Nagoya, Japan, the temple was donated by the Tsuzuki family and transported in over 2,400 pieces through the Panama Canal. Japanese craftsmen reconstructed it on the campus of Furman University in 2008, where it now serves as a place of meditation and reflection.
Saturday and Sunday morning meditation sessions for the seminar will be held here, beginning at 7:30 AM.
